About LoveLane Store
LoveLane Store is an online marketplace operated by the LoveLane platform (“LoveLane”, “we”, “us”) in Zimbabwe. We connect buyers with independent vendors and handle checkout, payment routing, and dispute mediation. Vendors remain the sellers of record for the products they list.
Who can use the store
You must be at least 18 to place an order. We primarily serve buyers in Zimbabwe; if you order from elsewhere, you are responsible for any import, currency, or legal implications on your end.
Your account
Signing in with Google is optional — you can also check out as a guest. If you do sign in, keep your Google account secure; we treat any action taken from a valid session as yours. You can sign out from the header at any time.
Placing an order
- Prices and availability are set by the vendor and may change. The price we show at the moment you place the order is the price you pay.
- Currency is shown either in USD or ZWG; the toggle at the top of the page lets you switch. The payment provider processes the amount in the currency you confirmed.
- A vendor may refuse an order — for example if the item is out of stock or your city is outside their delivery area. In that case we cancel the affected line and refund the amount you paid for it.
Payment
We process payment through third-party providers — Paynow, EcoCash, and Innbucks. You complete the payment on their interface; we receive a success or failure result. Card numbers and mobile-money PINs are never seen or stored by LoveLane.
Delivery
Vendors are responsible for getting your order to the address you supplied. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on the vendor, the courier, and your location. If something is significantly late or hasn’t arrived, email hello@lovelane.co.zw and we’ll step in with the vendor.
Returns and refunds
- You can request a refund within 7 days of delivery for items that arrived damaged, were the wrong item, or were significantly not as described.
- Send a clear photo and a short note to hello@lovelane.co.zw with your order reference. We review with the vendor.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Mobile-money reversals can take a few business days to show in your account.
- Some items are non-returnable by nature — perishable food, custom orders, downloadable codes, hotel and event bookings already redeemed.
What vendors agree to
Vendors who list on LoveLane Store agree to describe their products accurately, keep stock counts honest, dispatch paid orders promptly, and handle buyer communications in good faith. We can suspend vendors who repeatedly fail to.
Things you can’t do here
Don’t use LoveLane Store to buy or sell counterfeits, stolen goods, weapons, illegal substances, adult content, anything that infringes a third party’s intellectual property, or anything that violates Zimbabwean law. Try not to scrape, automate, or otherwise interfere with the normal operation of the site.
Intellectual property
Product photos, descriptions, and branding belong to the vendor who listed them. The LoveLane name, logo, and storefront design belong to us. Don’t copy either without written permission.
Liability
We do our best to keep the storefront reliable, but it’s provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to an order is capped at the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any dispute that can’t be resolved through email goes to the courts of Zimbabwe.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the marketplace evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be flagged in the storefront when they ship. Continued use after that point means you accept the updated terms.
